Save Those Photos Copying pictures from the Web is probably the most popular activity among surfers. That's because it's so easy. All you really have to do is click on any picture you see on a Web page. Try clicking on an image. You'll probably get a long list of items to choose from, but you need only pick one of them. On Netscape, choose "Save this Image As..."; on Explorer, choose "Download Image to Disk." Before you download the image, you have to choose where to save it. Just as we suggested in our Nitty Gritty Download article, make a new folder or directory, call it "Photos," and save all your images there. Of course, if you want to look at the pictures, you'll need a graphics program, or you can just drag-and-drop them onto your browser. Remember that images on the Web are protected by copyright, so you can't reuse them for any commercial purpose.
